This suspect, during 2003-2011 was residing in Pakistan working as a bomb maker for global militant organisation, Al Qaeda. He is wanted in connection with several terrorist attacks across the world.
Following a U.S. Drone Strike in late 2011 in NW Pakistan it was suspected that Abu al-Yassin had been killed.
However in mid 2012 Abu al-Yassin surfaced in Syria now working among the ranks of terrorist organisation, Daesh. He has since been placed back in the FIB's Top 10 Most Wanted Terrorists. Since he been part of a serious fundraising network directing criminal funds to both terror cells in the U.S. to attack here, and to other part of his organisation to Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Levant. resurfaced he has actively called for attacks against the United States, and is believed to have been funding terror cells within the US to perpetrate such attacks on our soil. His last whereabouts were confirmed April 2018 - and has since gone 'off the radar'.
The Rewards for Justice Program - U.S. Department of State, is offering a reward of up to $8,000,000 for information leading directly to the apprehension or conviction of Abu al-Yassin.
